The Morris Marine Register exists to support owners of MORRIS petrol and diesel marine units through the provision of spares and technical advice. It also serves as an owners exchange facility. The Register is a non profit enterprise run primarily by two people with a love of boats and MORRIS engines.
We possess the last remaining original spares for the range and the original workshop drawings.
The Register is informally linked with the Vintage Wooden Boat Association and the Thames Vintage Boat Club.
We try to raise funds through the sale of spares and any income is then used to purchase other spares for stock.
Underlying all of this intent is the desire to assemble a definitive collection of engines across the whole range. This runs to nearly thirty versions depending on how you define a model or Mark, including the Vapourising Oil versions.
